STEP1
Make two holes in the top of your blank wooden heart and make sure all the edges are smoothed. Cover the front of the heart with a thin layer of X-PRESS IT Triple Tac Glue using your paint brush.
STEP 2
Cover the heart with your blackboard paper and smooth out all bubbles with a cloth, brayer or the side of your hand. Trim the edge of the paper as close to the heart as possible to leave a neat clean finish.
The two little holes will be visible through the blackboard paper, use a pencil to poke through the paper to make two new holes. This will be where you thread your ribbon through.
STEP 3
Using the X-PRESS IT Triple Tac Glue paint a thin layer onto each panel of the picket fence background and apply the patterned paper face up onto the glue, again smoothing out any air bubbles. Repeat the step for each panel completing the panel before moving on as the glue might start to dry. Once all the panels have been done, move it aside to dry, a couple of hours should do it.
Once it is dry, put on a thin coat of the X-PRESS IT Triple Tac Glue to seal your project.
STEP 4
Using strong scissors or a pair of wire cutters, remove the stems from the roses.
STEP 5
Apply X-PRESS IT Clear Gel Glue around the edge of the heart and stick each bud into place creating a border around the heart. Hold each bud in place for a couple of second until its stuck securely. Next tie your ribbon through the two little holes and tie a knot in each piece to secure it. Once you have done that you can hang it on your little fince and write on a special message for your Valentine with chalk!
